Dear NRC:

You are the last-resort guardians of our safety! You are not in your jobs to rubber-stamp the corporate agenda!

We did perfectly fine without SONGS last summer, and this summer it will be the same.

We are not buying SCE's scare tactics; why are you so gullible?

For our children's sakes, please do not be so cavalier, shoddy, and biased in your decision-making! By banning the public from your hearing, you are admitting you have a hidden agenda!

I have gone to PUC meetings and have one of many who have spoken against a restart without an open adjudicatory hearing. Our words have fallen on deaf ears! Apparently, you are not to be trusted. Are you serious about "No Significant Hazard?" What planet do you live on?

We do not want you to risk our lives and those of our children and grandchildren! There has been too much sloppiness and greed around the SONGS fiasco. You would do the world a lot of good by proceeding with utmost caution, not with a pre-emptive, careless decision to allow a TRIAL restart at 70%! SONGS is a dinosaur and needs to be closed - that is the only right thing to do!

You will be held responsible!
