CA, General Comment I strongly oppose any licensing amendment for San Onofre nuclear plant. The potential for catastrophic problems caused by the replacement steam tubes has not been addressed properly. The idea of running at 70%
capacity as a means of preventing possible accidents is without sense; scientifically meaningless.
There must be a full hearing into the many questions regarding safety at San Onofre before a license amendment can be even considered.
