Lubinski, Director Division of License Renewal Attn: Document Control Desk U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555-0001 STARS ALLIANCE LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION SUBMITTAL SCHEDULE REVISIONS
Dear Mr. Lubinski,
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2003-02, "Importance of Giving NRC Advance Notice of Intent to Pursue License Renewal," dated February 3, 2003, requested that licensees provide a written, voluntary submission of licensees' plans regarding license renewal. The purpose of this letter is to formally notify the NRC of changes to the submittal schedule for STARS Alliance member stations noted on the NRC License Renewal website as STARS No.6 and 7. These changes have been discussed with Ms. Melanie Galloway of your staff.
ST ARS Station 6 is shown on the website to be submitting an application between July and September 2013. The revised submittal date is now scheduled to be the third quarter of 2016.
STARS Station 7 is shown on the website to be submitting an application October to December 2012. A revised date for this LRA submittal is still being determined. STARS will communicate the revised date once it is known; however, we do not anticipate this submittal being made prior to the 4th quarter of 2018.
If there are any questions regarding these changes, please contact me at 623-556-7296 or tony.harris@starsalliance.com.
Sincerely, Kf~~(5~
