Dear Mr. Gatlin:
On April 17, 2013, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met representatives from South Carolina Electric and Gas and members of the public in Blair, South Carolina. The purpose of the meeting/open house session was to discuss the annual assessment of Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Station, Unit 1 with the public for the period of January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2012.
A public meeting notice was issued on March 25, 2013, and was posted on the NRCs external (public) web page (ML13084A089). Enclosed are a list of attendees and the Unit 1 annual assessment slides handout during the open house session. Copies of posters used during the Unit 1 discussion are available from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) at ML12153A177.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS.
