Dear Mr. Gatlin:
This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Bruce Thompson of your staff and Mr. James Reece of this office on March 20, 2013 concerning a Category 3 public meeting which has been scheduled for April 17, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EDT. The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an open public forum to discuss the annual assessment of the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Unit 1. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will be available to ensure the publics issues and concerns are understood and considered.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agency-wide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
