Letter from NRC to TVA to NRC dated March 8, 2010, "Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 - Exemption from the Schedule Requirements of 10 CFR Part 73, section 73.55 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4) and 10 CFR 50.54(p), this letter provides Revision 14 of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Physical Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program. This revision contains updates to sections 11.2, 15, 18 and 19.1. The revision reflects changes to physical barriers, changes in the number of responders and changes in the number of security officers and barriers to address U2 activities. It also includes the removal of exemption language granted from the March 31, 2010, implementation requirements, as stated in the referenced letter.
TVA has evaluated the changes and does not consider the revision to decrease the overall effectiveness of the plan.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 March 13, 2013 The enclosure provides a copy of the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Physical Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program, Revision 14. The revised program is effective as of March 15, 2013.
The enclosure to this letter contains Safeguards Information and should be protected in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21(b). The enclosed program revision is being sent by certified mail and the signed receipt will signify that the NRC has received this information.
