This letter is the report required by 10 CFR 50.54(w)(3). The following Nuclear Property and Decontamination Liabil ity Insurance will be in effect for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station on the April 1, 2013 policy renewal date:

Insurance Policy

($500 million)

Decontamination Liability, Nuclear Electric Insurance Decommissioning Liability Limited (NEIL II) and Excess Property Insurance Policy

($2,250 million)

All policies prov iding coverage mentioned above comply with 10 CFR 50.54(w),

including provisions for the insurance proceeds to be prioritized for dedicated reactor stabilization/safety and then for decontamination of the site.
