RE: Oconee Ext Flood Order Plan word (3).doc A few things strike me on this:

Lois is the only BC not included. I will raise with Dave. Lois, please ask Meena to add you as a contact.

On the proposed issues of the order, in 1., what is "Jocassee earthworks project"? Also, the phrase "reasonable assurance" is used. DE needs to provide a writeup on what is meant by this phrase in the context of this issue.

On 4., what they are including the FSAR, before we get to the results, is the consideration of random dam failure as part of their licensing basis. This needs to be clear first and foremost.

On 5., this is the first I am hearing of the meeting with Duke on all issues to be in January. We need clarification on that--if that is the case, we need to accelerate our work on this and the scheduling of the internal meeting.

FW: Oconee Ext Flood Order Plan word (3).doc Importance: High Melanie, if you've not yet seen this, you should definitely review it. It is my understanding (which is incomplete) that the "order team" will have two tasks. First, to put together a letter requesting more information. Second, write an order.

Oconee Ext Flood Order Plan word (3).doc Lois and Jeff, as promised, here is the document that lays out the "Order Team" and milestones... pls note that the dates for the completion of the milestones are no longer valid since we are first planning to issue a letter.

I'll send out a scheduler for the meeting next week.

Thanks, Meena 1
