Subject:

Description of Neutron Sources and Total Special Nuclear Material Possession Limit Needs To Whom It May Concern:

In support of our license renewal process, the intent of this letter is to describe our two neutron sources and an appropriate total special nuclear material possession limit. We have two neutron sources. One can be identified as a 2.5 Ci Americium-Beryllium (AmBe) source with the serial number M01017-4. The other can be identified as a startup Antimony-Beryllium (SbBe) source with the property number 112799.

Per our telephone conversation with Geoffrey Wertz and Duane Hardesty on January 24, 2013 a total SNM possession limit of 40 grams would be sufficient and acceptable for our needs.

If you have any questions, please contact W.D. Reece at 979-845-7551.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on January 31, 2013.
