The technical reviewer agreed with this extension providing that you make your best efforts to respond to the NRCs RAIs prior to 02/20/13. Therefore, the NRC staff accepts your requested extension.

Extension Request for BFN Relief Request 2-ISI-28 RAI's

Farideh, On 11/2/2012, TVA received a request for additional information (RAI) regarding Browns Ferry Unit 2 Relief Request 2-ISI-28. The RAI response was requested within 90 days of the date of issuance, i.e. January 31, 2013. Due to Fleet outage schedules and resource priorities, the required technical input was delayed. Corporate Licensing has received all the Technical Input for the response. TVA is requesting an additional 21 days to finalize the RAI response and complete the internal review process. If approved the revised due date would be February 20, 2013. Please contact me if you have any questions.
