MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NOS. ME9281 AND ME9282)
Dear Mr. Capps:
By letter dated August 9, 2012, from Regis T. Repko, Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC applied for an amendment to the McGuire Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2 (McGuire 1 and 2), Operating License Nos. 50-369 and 50-370. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to the batteries at McGuire 1 and 2. Subsequently, by letter dated January 17, 2013, you withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
