On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits which are either active or deferred status. Enclosure 3 of Reference 1 contains specific Requested Actions, Requested Information, and Required Responses associated with Recommendation 2.3 for Seismic Walkdowns. South Carolina Electric & Gas, acting for itself and as an agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority, provides the following Seismic Walkdown Verification Report.
Pages B6-B21, B23-B29, C4-C423, and DI-D152 of Attachment 1 transmitted herewith contain sensitive information. When separated from these enclosures, this transmittal document is decontrolled.

Sensitive Information-Withhold from Public Disclosure Under 10 CFR 2.390 Document Control Desk RC-1 2-0175 Page 2 of 2 VCSNS performed walkdowns to identify and address degraded, nonconforming, or unanalyzed conditions through the corrective action program. These walkdowns also verified the adequacy of licensee monitoring and maintenance procedures. SCE&G confirms that it used the seismic walkdown procedure (EPRI 1025286, "Seismic Walkdown Guidance: For Resolution of Fukushima Near-Term Task Force Recommendation 2.3: Seismic") as endorsed by Reference 2 to conduct the walkdowns and identify issues through the VCSNS corrective actions program.
SCE&G considers Pages B6-B21, B23-B29, C4-C423, and D1-D152 of Attachment 1 Seismic Walkdown Verification Report to be sensitive information and requests that it be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390. Attachment 2 is a redacted version of Attachment 1 for public use.
This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
