KLD Engineering, P.C. Report KLD TR-510, Catawba Nuclear Station, Development of Evacuation Time Estimates, Revision 1, December 2012 Section IV.4 of Reference 1 requires, in part, that nuclear reactor power licensees develop an ETE analysis using the most recent decennial census data, and to submit this report within 365 days of the later of the date of the availability of the most recent decennial census data or December 23, 2011.
This submittal comprises the aforementioned 365 day response for CNS. The enclosure (Reference 2) is the evacuation time estimates report for CNS, using U.S. Census Bureau data files for the year 2010. The enclosure is provided electronically via CD-ROM.
This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
