Refer to Table K2 and the figures in Appendix K for a map showingthegeographiclocationofeachintersection.

Table J2 provides source (vehicle loading) and destination information for several roadway segments(links)intheanalysisnetwork.RefertoTableK1andthefiguresinAppendixKfora mapshowingthegeographiclocationofeachlink.

TableJ3providesnetwork-widestatistics(averagetraveltime,averagespeedandnumberof vehicles)foranevacuationoftheentireEPZ(RegionR03)foreachscenario.Asexpected,the specialevent(Scenario13)exhibitstheslowestaveragespeedandlongestaveragetraveltime asthereareapproximately50%moreevacuatingvehiclesthaninotherscenarios.

TableJ4providesstatistics(averagespeedandtraveltime)forthemajorevacuationroutes throughtheEPZ-US123andUS76-foranevacuationoftheentireEPZ(RegionR03)under Scenario1conditions.AsdiscussedinSection7.3andshowninFigures73through710,US 123/US 76 WB is congested for most of the evacuation. As such, the average speeds are comparablyslower(andtraveltimeslonger)thanotherevacuationroutes.

Table J5 provides the number of vehicles discharged and the cumulative percent of total vehiclesdischargedforeachlinkexitingtheanalysisnetwork,foranevacuationoftheentire EPZ(RegionR03)underScenario1conditions.RefertoTableK1andthefiguresinAppendixK foramapshowingthegeographiclocationofeachlink.

FigureJ1throughFigureJ14plotthetripgenerationtimeversustheETEforeachofthe14 Scenariosconsidered.ThedistancebetweenthetripgenerationandETEcurvesisthetravel time.PlotsoftripgenerationversusETEareindicativeoftheleveloftrafficcongestionduring evacuation. For low population density sites, the curves are close together, indicating short traveltimesandminimaltrafficcongestion.Forhigherpopulationdensitysites,thecurvesare fartherapartindicatinglongertraveltimesandthepresenceoftrafficcongestion.Asseenin Figure J1 through Figure J14, the curves are spatially separated as a result of the traffic congestionintheEPZ,whichwasdiscussedindetailinSection7.3.Themaximumtraveltimeis about 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br />, 30 minutes on average for midday good weather scenarios, 4 hours4.62963e-5 days <br />0.00111 hours <br />6.613757e-6 weeks <br />1.522e-6 months <br /> for the specialevent,and2hours,30minutesfortheroadwayimpact.

EvacuationTimeEstimate Rev.1 K. EVACUATIONROADWAYNETWORK AsdiscussedinSection1.3,alinknodeanalysisnetworkwasconstructedtomodeltheroadway network within the study area. Figure K1 provides an overview of the linknode analysis network. The figure has been divided up into 40 more detailed figures (Figure K2 through FigureK41)whichshoweachofthelinksandnodesinthenetwork.

The analysis network was calibrated using the observations made during the field survey conducted in September 2011. Table K1 lists the characteristics of each roadway section modeled inthe ETE analysis. Each link is identified by its road name and the upstream and downstream node numbers. The geographic location of each link can be observed by referencingthegridmapnumberprovidedinTableK1.TheroadwaytypeidentifiedinTable K1isgenerallybasedonthefollowingcriteria:

Freeway: limited access highway, 2 or more lanes in each direction, high free flow speeds Freewayramp:rampontooroffofalimitedaccesshighway Majorarterial:3ormorelanesineachdirection Minorarterial:2ormorelanesineachdirection Collector:singlelaneineachdirection Localroadways:singlelaneineachdirection,localroadswithlowfreeflowspeeds Theterm,No.ofLanesinTableK1identifiesthenumberoflanesthatextendthroughoutthe length of the link. Many links have additional lanes on the immediate approach to an intersection(turnpockets);thesehavebeenrecordedandenteredintotheinputstreamforthe DYNEVIISystem.

AsdiscussedinSection1.3,lanewidthandshoulderwidthwerenotphysicallymeasuredduring theroadsurvey.Rather,estimatesofthesemeasureswerebasedonvisualobservationsand recordedimages.

TableK2identifieseachnodeinthenetworkthatiscontrolledandthetypeofcontrol(stop sign, yield sign, pretimed signal, actuated signal, traffic control point) at that node.

UncontrollednodesarenotincludedinTableK2.Thelocationofeachnodecanbeobservedby referencingthegridmapnumberprovided.
