The.support has a small load as it only supports this pipe which spans an approximate total of 20 feet. The three (3) properly installed anchors arejudged to be seismically adequate. CR 525155 has been written to replace the anchor with a nut and washer.

There is a missing screw on the fan belt housing cover plate for 1R43-COO 1A (see photograph5). There are 7 other screws which are determined to be adequate to secure the cover plate. It is judged to be seismically adequate. CR 524556 has been written to install the missing screw.

The seismic capacityof the ConcreteBlock Walls C130-47E, C130-50B, C130-51A and C130-54A surroundingthe Motor Generatorwere verified using DrawingH-40383 Rev. 2 andHatch Unit 2 UFSAR Table 3.8-20.

There is afluorescentlightfixture without a cover locatedover the component. The light is tied to the ceiling,so during a seismic event, only the bulb couldfall. The motor generatoris very ruggedand is judged to have sufficient strength as to make a possible impact between the motor generatorand the bulb will be insignificant. Therefore, it is judged to be seismically adequate.

9. Do attached lines have adequate flexibility to avoid damage? YI NEI U0 N/AEl There is a section offlex conduit between the motor generatorand a conduit support with limited slack. The motor generatoris rigidly attachedto the floor and has a low center of gravity, and the conduit support is rigidly attachedto the floor. Therefore, there will not be.

much differential movement between the two ends of the flex conduit.

The existing slack isjudge to besufficientfor the very small differential movement, so there is no potentially adverse seismic condition.

10. Based on the above seismic interaction evaluations, is equipment free YZ NEI UFE of potentially adverse seismic interaction effects?

11. Have you looked for and found no other seismic conditions that could YZ NEIU1-adversely affect the safety functions of the equipment?

There are a numberof drilledholes in the casing of the motor, particularlyat anchorage locations. These holes appearto have been drilled to alter the balanceof the motor and are;clearlyunrelatedto component anchorage. Their presence does not indicate missing anchorsor screws. Therefore, there is no potentially adverse seismic condition.
