Dear Allison,

First of all, let me say thanks to all of you for the great response to our last minute request for writing letters to the LA City Council. It felt very good to have your support and I heard many of your thoughts echoed in the proceeding.

It seemed as though we were going to get the Resolution passed, but then Edison managed to create enough confusion about what the City Council was actually voting on that they decided to punt it off to the Energy and Environment committee for review.

Councilman Jose Huizar proposed the delay saying "there are various transactions and business deals in place and relationships that need to be worked on". It became clear that Edison had the attention of the LA Department of Water and Power and the Energy and Environment Committee which Huizar leads.
