Phone Messages from Concerned Citizens I have taken the following phone messages today. Could you please process as incoming, as appropriate?
Paula Colby - 760-726-6936 She lives very close to SONGS and is concerned by the restart. Would like the plant to be closed for good.
Upset that there is a meeting about SONGS in Maryland instead of CA. Requests that the meeting is rescheduled to take place in California, near the plant, so that interested citizens may attend. The venue is contrary to what she thinks the Chairman is trying to do with openness and transparency.
Julie Tully - 949-215-5775; im.tully*cox.net Mission Viejo, CA Would like voice heard at next NRC meeting. Requests that the location be changed to CA instead of MD.
Would like to know reason. Thinks Edison is trying to pull a fast one.
Patti Herdell - business owner and citizen in San Clemente. Did not want to leave her contact information.
Requests that public meetings about the plant take place in CA and not Maryland.
This is very important to her.
Myla Reson - myla.resonagmail.con Lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Very concerned about SONGS. Has attended all three public meetings thus far and alarmed that the next public meeting is in MD. Thinks the NRC is falling down on the job, safety is just a slogan.
Outraged that the meeting is not in CA. How can the public participate?
Don Liechtling - he said he sends the DAB Safety Team press releases and we could find his contact information on there.
San Diego, CA Urges Chairman not to allow public meeting on December 18 th to take place in MD and to hold instead in southern CA. He has been sending technical data and would like an opportunity to provide technical comment. Feels that NRC should publicize why this meeting is being held in MD and also assure public that a restart decision will not be made at this meeting. That might help alleviate some of the concern about this meeting being scheduled in Maryland.
Will send more messages as they are received.

Additional Message Mr. Sam Fabela of Vista, CA Would like to request public meeting take place in CA instead of Maryland. Feels very strongly this meeting should be near the plant or at a minimum, in CA.
