November 17, 2011 In the referenced letter, NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (NextEra) submitted License Amendment Request (LAR) 11-06 for an amendment to the Technical Specifications (TS) for Seabrook Station. The proposed change revises the applicability of the figures in the TS for the reactor coolant system pressure - temperature limits and the cold overpressure protection setpoints. The change revises the applicability of the figures from 20 to 23.7 effective full power years.
The LAR discusses that fluence projections were prepared based on WCAP-17441-NP, "Seabrook Unit 1 Heatup and Cooldown Limit Curves for Normal Operation," Revision 0, October 2011. However, WCAP-17441-NP has not been previously submitted to the NRC.
Therefore, this letter provides WCAP-17441-NP to support the staff s review of LAR 11-06.
