Clarification Question for RR Oyster Creek (15R-05) (ME9492) N-661-1 Code Case Applicability," dated October 19, 2012 In the Reference 1 letter, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) submitted for your review relief requests associated with the fifth ten-year Inservice Inspection (lSI) interval for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS). In the Reference 2 letter, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff requested additional information concerning Relief Request 15R-05. Relief Request 15R-05 concerns the use of Code Case N-661-1

("Alternative Requirements for Wall Thickness Restoration of Class 2 and 3 Carbon Steel Piping for Raw Water Service"). In response to the Reference 2 request, OCNGS will comply with the conditions for use of this Code Case as stated in Regulatory Guide 1.147

("Inservice Inspection Code Case Acceptability, ASME Section XI, Division 1"), Revision 16.

There are no regulatory commitments in this letter.
