MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT - CATEGORY 1 PUBLIC MEETING - ST. LUCIE NUCLEAR PLANT - UNIT 1 DOCKET NO. 50-335
Dear Mr. Nazar:
This letter is to inform you of a change of venue for the Category 1 public meeting scheduled for November 9, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time (EST). The meeting will be held at the Stuart-Martin County Chamber of Commerce on South Kanner Highway. The enclosed meeting notice provides additional details. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the performance deficiencies and corrective actions related to the two white performance indicators which resulted in the performance at St. Lucie Unit 1 being in the Degraded Cornerstone Column of the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Action Matrix. The NRC conducted a supplemental inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95002, Supplemental Inspection for One Degraded Cornerstone or Any Three White Inputs in a Strategic Performance Area," during the week of October 8, 2012, and the results of the inspection will be briefly discussed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
