FORTHCOMING PRE-APPLICATION MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY (TAC NO. ME9839)

DATE & TIME: Thursday, November 15, 2012 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. EST LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 0-8B2 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: Union Electric Company (the licensee) will meet with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss its planned submittal of an amendment request for Callaway Plant, Unit 1, to change the licensing basis to include damping values for the seismic design and analysis of the integrated head assembly that are consistent with the recommendations of NRC Regulatory Guide 1.61, "Damping Values for Seismic Design of Nuclear Power Plants," Revision 1, instead of Revision O.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 public meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
