SUBJECT:
PETITION TO INTERVENE AND REQUEST FOR HEARING WITH RESPECT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON, SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3, DOCKET NOS. 50-361 AND 50-362; APPLICATION AND AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE INVOLVING PROPOSED NO SIGNIFICANT HAZARDS CONSIDERATION DETERMINATION On October 17, 2012, Citizens Oversight, Inc., filed a petition to intervene and request for hearing regarding the application and amendment request to convert the Current Technical Specifications to be consistent with the most recently approved version of the Standard Technical Specifications for Combustion Engineering Plants, NUREG-1432. The petition was filed by Raymond Lutz via the Electronic Information Exchange.
The request for hearing and petition to intervene was submitted in response to the publication of the NRC Staff's "Notice of Opportunity for Hearing ," in the Federal Register at 77 Fed. Reg. 49,463, on August 16, 2012. The request is located in ADAMS and also in the EHD as accession number ML12291B227.
This hearing request is being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R.
§2.346(i). This referral is being served on the E-Filing service list for the San Onofre Generating Station (SONGS), Units 2 and 3, Docket Nos. 50-361 and 50-362-LA as well as those on the cc:
