SUMMARY

OF THE SEPTEMBER 19, 2012, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS CONSTELLATION ENERGY NUCLEAR GROUP, LLC (CENG) FLEET PERFORMANCE On September 19, 2012, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. The meeting was between NRC Headquarters, NRC Region I, and Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, LLC (CENG) management to discuss fleet performance. The meeting notice and licensee presentation can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) as ML12249A052 and ML12268A295, respectively. A list of principal NRC and licensee meeting participants is enclosed.

CENG began the meeting with a brief welcome and opening remarks. CENG management gave an overview of their organization and operating plan, and discussed current CENG operational and regulatory performance, site performance, and CENG implementation of the Fukushima Near Term Task Force Actions. The NRC discussed the status of major regulatory activities within the agency.

The meeting provided a useful forum to discuss common themes at the CENG plants with NRC Headquarters and Region. The meeting concluded with closing remarks by CENG and the NRC.
