CLOSURE OF INVESTIGATION (014-2011-058)

Dear Mr. Dietrich:

This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC's Office of Investigations regarding activities at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. The Office of Investigations initiated the investigation to determine whether a nuclear oversight auditor at Southern California Edison Company's San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station was subjected to discrimination by management for raising safety concerns..

Based on the evidence developed, this investigation did not substantiate the allegation that a nuclear oversight auditor at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station was subjected to discrimination by management for raising safety concerns.
