The purpose of this letter is to update the schedule for the following commitment regarding Operator Manual Action (OMA) 732 that was made in the referenced TVA letter:
The problems impacting OMA 732 are being addressed under Problem Evaluation Report 558202 in TVAs Corrective Action Program. Once the required corrective actions are implemented, the Fire Protection Report (FPR) will be revised accordingly and an update to the report will be submitted to NRC by July 26, 2012.
As discussed on July 19, 2012, between Justin Poole, NRC Senior Project Manager, and Gordon Arent, Senior Manager Licensing, an additional error in the analysis that supports the application of OMA 732 in the WBN two-unit Fire Protection Report (FPR) was recently identified. As a result, the July 26, 2012, schedule for the submittal of an update to the FPR is being adjusted to September 13, 2012. The analysis error has been captured in TVAs Corrective Action Program as Service Request 580935.
