U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Two White Flint North 11545 Rockville Pike, Room T-8A1 Rockville, MD 20852 PURPOSE:

To discuss and seek public comment on the Draft RIS, NRC Staff Position on the Relationship Between GDC Requirements and Technical Specification Operability. The draft RIS clarifies the NRC staffs position on the relationship between the GDC for nuclear power plants and technical specification operability. In addition, the RIS clarifies the process for addressing non-conformances with GDC as incorporated into a plants current licensing basis.

CATEGORY 2*:

This is a Category 2 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by discussing regulatory issues with the NRC at designated points identified on the agenda.
