(1) Letter from A. Verno (NMPNS) to Document Control Desk (NRC), dated May 17, 2012, Changes to the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Physical Security, Safeguards Contingency, and Security Training and Qualification Plan By letter dated May 17, 2012 (Reference 1), Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC (NMPNS) submitted changed pages for Issue 7, Revision 3, of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Physical Security, Safeguards Contingency, and Security Training and Qualification Plan (the Plan). In a subsequent email from the NRC to NMPNS dated June 11, 2012, the NRC requested additional information (RAI) regarding Section 15.3 of the Plan, which describes intrusion detection system (IDS) equipment that NMPNS may employ. This RAI was discussed in a telephone conference between NRC and NMPNS staff members on June 12, 2012. At the conclusion of the telephone conference, NMPNS agreed to address the RAI by revising Section 15.3 of the Plan to list only the IDS equipment that is actually employed, and to submit this Plan revision to the NRC by August 3, 2012. This regulatory commitment is listed in the Attachment to this letter.
