RE: Audit Week 2 Electrical scheduling requests Is there some reason to believe that these would be the most likely to experience wetting? Without some rationale other than difficulty we would like to see all of them.

RE: Audit Week 2 Electrical scheduling requests There are more manholes but these are the easiest to get to and open. The other manholes are very large and require extensive security support to open.. a very labor intensive operation to get them open Chris Wilson Exelon Nuclear KSQ License Renewal 610-765-5667 (office) 609-709-3249 (cell) 200 Exelon Way, KSA/2-E From: Kuntz, Robert [2]

RE: Audit Week 2 Electrical scheduling requests Not sure what the manhole entry means. Are there only 2 manholes that contain cables within the scope of license renewal? And your proposal is to only go to either 1 of the 2?

Audit Week 2 Electrical scheduling requests Robinput for the electrical walkdowns from engineering Switchyards:

We need to determine the number of people. Blue suits are required as PPE. Additionally, do they want to see the 500 kV yard, the 220 kV yard, or both? The two switchyards are very much separated from each other.

Manholes:

We will be scheduling a walkdown of either nonsafety-related MH-001 or MH-002.

Metal enclosed bus:

The in scope 4 kv metal enclosed bus run from the safeguard transformers, outside the power block on the north side of the Turbine Building, through 239 elevation in the center of the turbine building to the 4 kV switchgear rooms. There is nothing unique/special about this walkdown.

Fuse holders:

There are two panels with in scope fuse holders/metallic clamps that are managed by the XI.E5 AMP. The Unit 2 panel was accessed, opened and photographed by us in LR The Unit 1 panel was seen from afar, but access to open and photograph was too difficult. This walkdown is to be re-attempted during the upcoming Unit 1 refuel outage. Both panels

2 contained fuse holders/metallic clamps are in scope for this AMP, and the AMP is written to address aging effects if they are from frequent manipulation or environmental stressors (i.e., moisture). Did wish to bring up that we might be limited to pointing from afar, depending on the auditors willingness to access certain areas of the reactor building. We should discuss further.

Hope this helps.

Chris
