Regarding Recommendations 2.1,2.3, and 9.3 of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Accident,"

to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits in active or deferred status. Enclosure 4 of the 10 CFR 50.54(f) letter contains specific Requested Actions, Requested lnformation, and Required Responses associated with Recommendation 2.3 tor Flooding Walkdowns.

This letter provides FENOC's 90 day response to the 10 CFR 50.54(0 letter for Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (BVPS), Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS),

and Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP).

For flooding Recommendation 2.3 (walkdowns),

Enclosure 4 of the 10 CFR 50.54(0 letter states that each licensee will confirm that it intends to use the NRC-endorsed flooding walkdown procedure or provide a description of the process it will use.

Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and2 Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Perry Nuclear Power Plant L-12-178 Page 2 FENOC confirms that it intends to use the flooding walkdown procedure (NEl 12-07, Guidelines for Performing Verification Walkdowns of Plant Flood Protection Features) endorsed by the NRC as the basis for the flooding walkdowns at BVPS, DBNPS, and PNPP.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
