SUBJECT:
REFERRING THE JONES RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION AND PILGRIM WATCHS REQUEST TO REOPEN THE RECORD, FOR A HEARING, TO FILE NEW CONTENTIONS, AND JONES RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION MOTION TO INTERVENE, IN THE PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, DOCKET NO. 50-293-LR PROCEEDING On May 14, 2012, the Jones River Watershed Association and Pilgrim Watch filed a Request to reopen the record, for a hearing, to file new contentions, and Jones River Watershed Association Motion to Intervene on issues of violations of the State and Federal Clean Water Laws; Lack of Valid State §401 Water Quality Certification; Violation of State Coastal Zone Management Policy; and Violation of NEPA in the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Docket 50-293-LR proceeding.
The NRC Staff filed an unopposed Motion for an Extension of Time to Respond to the Jones River Watershed Association and Pilgrim Watchs request for hearing on May 15, 2012.
The request for hearing can be located in ADAMS and in the EHD as (ML12135A617), and accompanying certificate of service as (ML12135A616), and can also be located as package (ML12135A615). The NRC Staffs Unopposed Motion will be available shortly in ADAMS and in the EHD as (ML12136A517).
This request for hearing, motion to reopen, certificate of service, and the NRC Staff unopposed Motion for Extension are being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. §2.346(i).
