Pictures of Emergency Temporary Plug Attachments: DSC00239.pdf; DSC00251.pdf Subject Attached. Here is what I learned:

The temporary plug is sized to fit in the socket on the 10 line (they are reusing the socket). They will have the plug staged, as well as a cutter staged, so at any point in the permanent repair process if leakage is bad, they will cut off what they have done and stick the plug on (so they thought through all the aspects of the permanent repair). The plug is silicone rated to 600 degrees F.

Draining Evolution The drain valve is on the top of the 10 inch pipe at the same height as RHR-600 penetration. They will siphon drain off this line, to get to basically the top of the pipe. They will remove the non-code repair.

Then they will stick the suction tubing of a pump and pump the pipe down.

I learned this tonight as I walked it down and wanted to ensure everyone was aware.
