THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 - WITHDRAWAL OF RELIEF REQUEST PR-05, RELIEF REQUEST ASSOCIATED WITH FOURTH INSERVICE TESTING INTERVAL (TAC NO. ME7532)

Dear Mr. Pacilio:

By letter dated October 28,2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML113010335), Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon, the licensee), submitted a relief request proposing to perform an alternative testing method for the Reactor Building Emergency Cooling River Water Pumps at Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1. By letter dated April 4, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML120870190), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission sent Exelon a request for additional information, in part, questioning the need for this relief request. Subsequently, by letter dated April 18, 2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML12110A123), Exelon concluded that the relief request was not needed, and withdreW the request. Based on the withdrawal of Relief Request PR-05, TAC No. ME7532 is being closed.
