Document Control Desk Director, Division of Spent Fuel Storage and Transportation Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2; Docket Nos. 50-220 and 50-410 Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Docket No. 72-1036 Notification of Intent to Store Spent Fuel in an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Under a General License In accordance with 10 CFR 72.212(b)(1), Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC (NMPNS) hereby notifies the NRC that NMPNS intends to store spent fuel in an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72, Subpart K. Cask loading activities are expected to commence on or about August 26, 2012. NMPNS will use the Transnuclear Standardized NUHOMS storage system in accordance with NRC-issued Certificate of Compliance No. 1004. The following information is provided in accordance with 10 CFR 72.212(b)(1):
