By letter dated August 12, 2011, the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) submitted for U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review, a proposed industry guideline for pre-application interactions with agencies other than the NRC during the early site permit process. The NRC staff has performed an acceptance review of NEI 10-07, Revision 0, and found that the material presented is sufficient to begin our comprehensive review.
