1201 NRC Simulator JPM F Pafle 8 of 11 NOTES

1) With Ambient Start being performed, the generator must be loaded between 3.96 and 4.4 MW immediately after breaker 1912 is closed.
2) During steps &I [1 51 and 61 Ii&] the Load vs. VAR limits of Attachment 1 must be observed when loading the Diesel Generator. The bad requirements of between 3.96 to 4.4 maJ be reduced to 2.2 MW if both units are in MODES and/or 6.
3) When closing the Diesei Generator Output Breaker at the 12 oclock position, consideration should be given to the speed of rotation of the synchroscope needle and the response time it takes to close the breaker.
4) The following table provides an approximation of expected values at various DG loading plateaus.
