Dear Mr. Milano:
Thank you for your letter regarding the Notice of Availability of the draft supplement to the Final Environmental Statement for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant Unit 2 for public comment.
Through your notification the Chickasaw Nation is made aware that the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission is reviewing an application submitted by the Tennessee Valley Authority for an operating license for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN), Unit 2 located in Rhea County, Tennessee. We arc in agreement with the NRC to review the pennit.
After reviewing your information, we are in agreement with the assessment and have no objections to the proposed undertaking. We concur with your finding ofno adverse effect to historic properties and we accept the special conditions set forth in this report. We do not presently know of any specific historic properties or properties of significant religious or sacred value. In the event your agency becomes aware ofthe need to enforce other statutes we request to be notified under NEP A, NAGPRA, AIRF A and ARPA.
