This revised Owner's Activity Report (OAR) summarizes the results of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (CCNPP),
Unit 2, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (B&PVC), Section X1, Inservice Inspection examinations (ISI), performed during the period from October 10, 2009 through March 13, 2011, the First Inservice Inspection Period which began on October 10, 2009 and Is scheduled to end on June 30., 2012 and the First outage of the Fourth Ten-Year Inservice Inspection Interval which, began on October 10, 2009 and is scheduled to end on June 30, 2019.
In addition, the three CCNPP Unit 2 Reactor Vessel Supports were performed to satisfythe requirements of the Third Ten-Year Interval. These exams were identified.as omitted from previous prograrn plans and added after the 2009 outage. These exams were not credited towards.the Fourth Ten-Year Interval.
Asý an alternate to the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel'Code;(B&PVC), Section Xi, Article IWA-6000, CCNPP is implementing, ASME Code Case N-532-4,. "Alternative Requirements to Re'palr and Replacement Documentation Requirements and Inservice Summary Report Preparation and Submission as Required by.,IWA-4000 and IWA-6000, SectionXl,,Division 1.'" Regulatory Guide 1.147, Revision:16 (Oct. 2010),'approved ASME Code Case N-532-4 for use. This report.complies with the requirements of ASME Code:Case N;532-4.
In accordance with ASME Section Xl, IWB.2412(a), IWC-2412,IWD-2412, and IWE-2412(a), and with thIe exception of those examinations that are limited to components selected for examination under-Examihation Categories B-L-2 and R-M-7 and required ornly when theo pump or valve is disassembled as specified in Table IWB-2500-1, IWC-2500-1, IWD-2500-1, IWF-2500-1, and IWE-2500-1, including those examinations which CCNPP has requested and received approval in the form of requests for relief or alternates, the required examinations in each ýexamination category'have been completed for the First outage of the First Inspection Period of the Fourth Inspection Interval in accordance with Tables iWD-2412-1, IWC-2412-1, iWD-2412-1, and IWEý2412-1.
