FORT CALHOUN STATION, UNIT NO.1 - WITHDRAWAL OF AN AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. ME5830)
Dear Mr. Bannister:
By letter dated March 4,2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML110680093), you applied for an amendment to the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit 1, Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-40. The proposed change would have modified the facility technical specifications to establish the ultimate heat sink (UHS) limiting condition for operation (LCO) and add UHS level and temperature surveillance requirements. Subsequently, by letter dated January 4,2012 (ADAMS Accession No. ML120040400), you withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
