)(6) ---- from Georgia Power Environmental Lab will be collecting REMP samples at Vogtle on Tuesday, February 15th. Air filters and cartridges will be changed out and TLDs will be checked that day. They should be at the olant around 7:30am EST.

I should be at Vogtle around 2:30-3:00pm on Wednesday, February 1 6th. I'll also be at the plant on Thursday morning.

Regarding your questions below:

1) There was an estimation added to the 2009 Radioactive Effluent Release Report to address dose to a member of the public (a construction worker) on site from gaseous and liquid releases. That same calculation will be performed for the 2010 report.

2) There have been evaluations done on the hydrogeologic impacts of Vogtle 3&4 construction on Vogtle 1&2. I'll get those from our Nuclear Development group.

3) I will let the Chemistry Staff at the plant know to set up a meeting with the met tower engineer.

4) There have been no additions to the 10CFR50.75(g) file since the last inspection in July 2009. Do you want to see the historical contents of the file? Guidance to address new leaks and spills and the report form are included in procedure NMP-EN-002 (that was in the information from the plant).

5) Very little progress has been made on the 2010 REMP report. If there are specific analyses you would like to see, such as groundwater radiological results, let me know.

Do you have any idea what time they normally get started on the sample run, and wha sap es are scheduled for collection that week?

I have not gone through all of the information provided yet but there are a couple of things that I wanted to ask you about.

1) What, if any, changes have been made, or are being considered, to the Vogtle 1 & 2 ODCM to account for Vogtle 3 & 4 construction and workers?

2) What, if any, hydrologic impact is expected or predicted for the Vogtle 1 & 2 site due to Vogtle 3

&4 construction?

3) I would like to walk-down the met tower equipment and instruments during the week. Who would be the site POC to set that up?

4) I would like to look at the 10 CFR 50.75(g) information (record of leaks, spills, and remediation).

Who would be the site POC to contact?

5) How far along is the 2010 environmental report?
