BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT - ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF LICENSEE IDENTIFIED VIOLATION DENIAL
Dear Mr. Annacone:
We are in receipt of the letter dated December 14, 2011, from you, in which Carolina Power &
Light Company (CP&L), now doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc., contests the licensee identified violation (LIV), concerning Technical Specification 3.3.6.1, Primary Containment Isolation Instrumentation, discussed in section 40A7 of Integrated Inspection Report Nos.: 05000325/2011004 and 05000324/2011004, dated November 14, 2011. We are reviewing the basis for this disagreement and denial, and will provide you with the results of our review upon completion.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
