This letter acknowledges receipt of your application dated December 12, 2011, for renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-129 for the Nuclear Engineering Teaching Laboratory TRIGA Mark II Nuclear Research Reactor. Since your application has been submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of your license, you have satisfied the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 2.109, Effect of Timely Renewal Application.
Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.109, the existing license will be deemed not to have expired until the request for renewal has been finally determined.
