Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Revision No. 1 to License Amendment Request Dated February 6, 1981 Cycle 9 Technical Specifications Attached are 3 originals and 37 conformed copies of a revision to a previous ly submitted request for a change in the Technical Specifications, Appendix A, of Operating License DPR-22.
This submittal proposes a revision to the Technical Specifications as a result of discussions with the NRC Staff and the shortening of the previous cycle (cycle 8).
Pages 89, 90, 213, and 214 should be removed from the February 6, 1981 License Amendment Request and the pages in Exhibit B should be added.
Exhibit A contains the proposed changes, reasons for change, and safety evaluations.
Exhibit B contains revised Appendix A pages showing the proposed changes. Exhibit C contains the Supplemental Reload Licensing submittal for Cycle 9 revision No. 1.
This license amendment will be required for Cycle 9 operation.
In order to prevent any possible delay in the operation of Cycle 9,. issuance of this amendment is requested prior to April 15, 1981.
