PERRY NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNIT 1 - WITHDRAWAL OF LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST (TAC NO. ME7232)

Dear Mr. Allen:

By letter dated October 3, 2011 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML112770098), you applied for an amendment for Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1 (PNPP) Operating License No. NPF-58. The proposed change would revise Technical Specification (TS) 3.8.1, <lAC Sources - Operating," to clarify that a delayed access circuit is temporarily qualified as one of the required otfsite circuits between the otfsite transmission network and the onsite Class 1 E alternating current (AC) electric power distribution system. The proposed change would also add a COMPLETION TIME allowed for circuit restoration if the only OPERABLE otfsite circuit is a delayed access circuit. Subsequently, by letter dated October 11, 2011, you withdrew the amendment request.

The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
