REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 License Amendment Request (LAR-262) dated March 23, 2011 Revision to Technical Specification Operating Limits to Include Measurement Uncertainty (TAC Nos. ME5906 and ME5907)
The technical staff in the Reactor Systems Branch (SRXB) of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation has developed the following request for additional information associated with its review of LAR-262.
SRXB-1 For the item relating to the Refueling Water Storage Tank (RWST) Temperature, the basis for the change states the current RWST minimum temperature of 40°F is based on the value assumed in the steam line break analysis core response.
Please identify the section in the Final Safety Evaluation Report (FSAR) that confirms this minimum temperature of 40°F.
