TABLE I ITEMS WITH FLAWS OR RELEVANT CONDITIONS THAT REQUIRED EVALUATION FOR CONTINUED SERVICE Examination Item Description Evaluation Description Category and Item Number D-B, D2.10 Essential Service Water (ESW) A through wall leak was piping line EF03 1HBC-30 identified in a piping to flange weld. An evaluation was performed in accordance with Code Case N-513-2. The evaluation determined that structural integrity was intact and that the piping could remain in operation in the current condition until the next available opportunity to repair, or the next refueling outage. Repairs were performed in RF18 on this piping per R/R plan 2011-009 listed in Table 2.
D-B, D2.10 ESW piping Note I Note 1: The ESW system has experienced degradation (internal pitting). An on-line degradation assessment was performed to check for wall thinning in this system using guided wave and phased array technology. An analysis was performed on the system to determine the required minimum wall thickness for system operation. Reference Calculation EF-M-055, Essential Service Water Piping Flaw Handbook. Repairs were made on locations that did not have the required thickness. Repairs were also made on locations that were projected (based on corrosion rates) to be below the required thickness prior to the next scheduled inspection. These repairs are all listed in Table 2.
