RE: Status - Salem/Hope Creek DSEIS Bo - the two revisions we just discussed are attached. I'm not sure if you have the active version, or Nicole does, so I am copying to both of you. The yellow highlights are the items I modified earlier this morning, and the two we just talked about are in track changes.

Please call if there are any questions.

RE: Status - Salem/Hope Creek DSEIS

Bobbie, I need to speak to Steve Dillard/Duda about the NJPDES situation; need some clarification regarding pg. 41.

The obvious question came up because on pg. 2-38, where we talk about the Salem NJPDES permit, we say:

Correspondence provided with the applicant's ER indicates that a renewal application was filed on January 31, 2006. During the site audit, NJDEP staff confirmed that the application was still underRoing review, so the 2001 permit is still considered to be in force. No substantial changes in permit conditions are anticipated.

But for the similar paragraph on 2-41 regarding HCGS, we have a very different statement, which makes it read like we didn't consider much for HCGS during the audit:

Correspondence provided with the applicant's ER indicates that a renewal application was filed on August 30, 2007. However, the current status of that renewal is not provided within the ER and attached NJPDES permit (PSEG, 2009b).

Thanks.

Ptease Let me know if you wish to discuss any of these further so we can have the appropriate people on the phone.

Pg. 41 The current NJPDES Permit No. NJ0025411 for the HCGS facility was issued in early 2003, with an effective date of March 1, 2003, and an expiration date of February 29, 2008 (NJDEP, 2003). [hepermit requires that a e

Status - Salem/Hope Creek DSEIS Importance: High Bo, I was having trouble getting on Citrix last night, so I was not able to work on DSEIS at home as I had planned.

When I tried this morning I was able to get on. I will definitely plan stay late in office after training today to finishing resolving OGC comments. However, I do need help following up with Bobbie Hurley to resolve some of the comment. She sent me an email yesterday indicating that she could arrange for have conference the appropriate technical person to discuss the questions,, since I am training it will be hard for me do a conference call.

If someone could follow up with her today, I would appreciate it. Attached is the version of Chapter 2 that I sent to her that includes OGC comments/questions. If we can get these comments resolved today, then I can make the changes this evening sent to Brian Harris. I will follow up with later this morning during one of my breaks.

Comment/questions are on pages 41, 93, 94, 100 in the attachment.

I will touch base with later this morning. My cell is ()(6'
