FW: Salem-Hope LR: Site Audit and communications with contractor Charles, this is why I wanted to waste no time in getting the AECOM reviewers to contact our staff.

Bobbie, do you have a feel for where your folks are in drafting something at this point?

RE: Salem-Hope LR: Site Audit and communications with contractor The sections in the various resource areas should be drafted before the site audit so that the reviewers know where the "data gaps" are and what questions to ask. I assume that this is being done, because, if this has not been done, you should expect a large number of RAIs (and perhaps rounds of RAIS) may be needed.

Salem-Hope LR: Site Audit and communications with contractor RERB Branch:

Greetings, On Tuesday, OGC officially notified me that no contention had been filed on the Salem/Hope Creek License Renewal project, and therefore we are now moving aggressively forward with preparing a single integrated SEIS for the two separate plants. This SEIS will necessitate taking a slightly innovative approach in terms of the way issues are analyzed and presented. I will be working closely with you folks and AECOM to ensure that final SEIS meets all requirements and objectives.

The Site Audit is planned for the week of March 8th and is expected to run from Monday through Thursday. Please contact me if you have any conflicts with this schedule. I am in the process of reviewing the Site Audit plan and will distribute it to you next week for review.

I have instructed the contractor (AECOM) to contact their RERB counterparts. Please contact me if you have not been contacted by next Wednesday. I will expect AECOM counterparts to stay in close communication with the RERB staff, particularly with respect to providing guidance to the contractor.

I also plan on holding a short meeting next week (preferably Wednesday) to discuss this project, expectations, and discuss any questions/problems.
