SUBJECT: Waterford Unit 3 - NRC EXAMINATION REPORT 05000382/2011302
Dear Mr. Kowalewski:
On July 28, 2011, the Waterford Training Manager notified my staff via telephone that the initial retake examination scheduled at Waterford 3 for the week of August 8, 2011, was no longer needed. This retake examination included only the walk-through portion of the operating test for one reactor operator applicant. Mr. Michael Mason of your staff formally cancelled the examination by letter to the Regional Administrator, dated August 2, 2011. This process was cancelled during the draft examination review process at your request; however, the portions of the examination that were reviewed with comments provided back to your staff will be included in the NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). No findings were identified during this examination.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC's Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the electronic Reading Room page of the NRC's public website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
