RE: Trip to Surry Rich, I just wanted to firm up the plans for the trip with you. We will likely be arriving the morning of the 19th to the plant, and be there for most of the day. I had previously talked to Barry Garber about NRC staff coming for a day between 1/19-1/21, and he was okay with it. Since I have had trouble reaching him the past few days, I asked Bill Webster (also Dominion), and also accompanying us at the plant to reconfirm the date.

Could you please let me know when you have informed the residents, so that I know the communications circle is closed.

Once you firm up the details w/the licensee, please provide us the dates/times, so that we can give the residents a more definite timeframe/plan. Who will be your primary contact on the licensee side during the trip; i.e., who will be meeting you upon your arrival and facilitating your information needs/communications?

Trip to Surry Rich, As an FYI- we have been talking to plant for the past few weeks about going there on a trip. We are tentatively planning on going next week to reanalyze the ISLOCA scenario. Could you please inform the resident inspectors? Are there other people we need to notify?
