Subject:

Request for Additional Information from Peach Bottom for SOARCA Project Hi Frank, As I mentioned in our phone conversation today, we have the following four requests for additional information regarding Peach Bottom's fact-check comments.

Summary Document - Section 5.2.1 (page 55): We are unable to reproduce the values for the average wind speeds that Peach Bottom provided in its fact check list. We removed all values of 99.9, stated to be bad data, and tried three choices for replacing 77.7, stated to be calm winds. We tried 0, 0.5mph, and removal, yet none yielded an average over 3.0 m/s. How did you deal with these issues in your calculations?

  • Appendix A - Section 4.4 (page 32): Please provide drawing A-1 1.

" Appendix A - Section 1.2 (page 3): Please provide a more up-to-date photo that we can use in the report.

Appendix A - Section 2.2.2 (page 9): Please provide us with an estimate of the water level inside of the reinforced concrete wall surrounding the CST following CST rupture (seismic induced STSBO --- 0.5 to 1.0g earthquake).

Thank you again for your continued support in this project!

Jon
